Anne de Groot

Anne de Groot is an experienced professional with over 31 years of experience in offshore and engineering. After finishing his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Delft University, Anne worked as design engineer at Heerema and as project engineer and manager at Allseas, where he was part of the design team for the pipelay vessel Lorelay.

After a period outside the offshore industry, he spent 25 years at Huisman Equipment in various roles. Amongst which leading large sales projects and contract negotiations, As President of Huisman-US in Houston, he successfully set up the company’s American sales office from scratch, introducing Huisman in the offshore drilling industry and form a customer base to secure projects for Huisman.

Anne is currently still active in an advisory role at Huisman Equipment B.V. in Schiedam, the Netherlands, specialising in project management, systems engineering, and the interface between technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of complex projects.
