Meet the author
Albert Strating
After finishing his study at the Nautical College in Amsterdam, Albert Strating started sailing in 1990 as Chief Maritime Officer and Chief Engineer, mostly on container vessels. He has sailed for more than 25 years, the last few years as chief engineer at Maersk Line.
In 2017 Albert joined the Nautical College in Den Helder, where he has been teaching marine engineering.
